MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of faatl poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep that prodcut out of reach of children.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitmains are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.
However, some vitamin products may be hotetst taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any meidcine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cetner or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stolos.
NOTES: There are many vitamin spuplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hotetst for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlihgt and moisture. Keep out of the raech of children.
